We are pleased to announce that David White has joined the BloomSmith team as a Non-Exec Director. David will apply his expertise to help expand BloomSmith’s impact and reach across real estate and the construction sector and also contribute to the ongoing strategy of the business.

With a career in banking of over 37 years starting at Nat West, his leadership and industry experience includes Head of the Commercial Real Estate Loan Portfolio at Nationwide. During his time at Nationwide, he personally originated or led origination teams that delivered over c. £7bn of new lending, predominantly in the UK but also in Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and France. He also worked for Lloyds Bank in the Global Corporate Real Estate team as Head of London and South East where he and his team transacted c. £2bn of new bank loans in addition to loan extensions and restructures.

David subsequently joined CR Asset Management where he helped drive forward a fledgling real estate debt business by developing a team, debt products and origination capability. This included creating and developing a relationship between CR and Tunstall whom David then joined as Head of Debt Strategies in mid-2018, overseeing all aspects of the Tunstall Debt Funds and acting as the leading originator, identifying and progressing UK Whole Loan opportunities in the £2-£75m.

The Directors have known and worked with David for over twenty years as customers. We now look forward to working with David and are confident that his expertise will bring to the growing range of BloomSmith’s portfolio of products.
